The Ultimate College Student Starter Pack ✨

  • 2 min read

In honor of a new semester (and surviving my first one), I’m sharing my college student starter pack (aka the products that genuinely got me through classes, study sessions, and long days on campus). These are my personal favorites: cute, practical, and actually useful. If you’re starting college or just want to feel more put together this semester, consider this your sign 💕

Cute + Functional School Essentials

  •  A Cute Pink Notebook

A non-negotiable. Having a notebook you actually love makes taking notes feel way less painful. I’m obsessed with a simple pink notebook that’s lightweight, aesthetic, and easy to throw in my bag for every class.

  • Zebra Mildliners

These are hands-down my favorite highlighters. The colors are soft (not neon), super aesthetic, and perfect for notes, planners, and study guides.

  • Calculator (Trust Me)

Even if you think you won’t need one… you will. A simple, scientific calculator is a lifesaver for exams and homework, especially for business or math-related classes.

Beauty + Self-Care Staples

  • Glossier Blush

Early classes + late nights = tired face. This Glossier blush is my go-to for looking awake in under 30 seconds. It’s natural, easy, and perfect for busy mornings.

  •  Lip Balm (Always)

Having a lip balm in your backpack is essential. Classrooms are dry and you’ll thank yourself later. My personal favorite is the NYX butter gloss!

On-the-Go Must-Haves

  • Hydro Flask

Staying hydrated on campus is so important, and a Hydro Flask keeps your water cold all day long. Plus, it’s cute and durable enough to survive being tossed in your bag.

  • Portable Charger

Probably one of the most important things on this list. Between classes, work, and studying, my phone is always on low battery. A portable charger has saved me more times than I can count.

  • Wireless Earbuds

Perfect for walking to class, studying in the library, or tuning out distractions. These are a college essential.

Snacks & Little Extras That Matter

  • Gum

A small thing, but so clutch. I always keep Extra gum in my bag for long days, quick refreshes, or pre-presentation nerves.

  • Alani Nu Energy Drinks

For early classes, late study nights, or when coffee just isn’t doing it, Alani Nu energy drinks are

my go-to. They’re flavorful, low-calorie, and give the perfect boost without feeling overwhelming.

  • Hand Sanitizer

You never know what you’re touching on campus. A small hand sanitizer is a must for staying clean on the go, especially before snacks or after classes.

  • Hair Ties (Especially for Windy Days)

Windy walks to class are no joke. Keeping a few hair ties in your bag saves your hair (and your sanity) when the weather decides not to cooperate.

Final Thoughts 🎓✨

College is all about figuring out what works for you, but having the right essentials makes the transition so much easier. This starter pack helped me stay organized, confident, and a little more put together during my first semester, and I hope it helps you too.

Here’s to a new semester, fresh routines, and romanticizing your college life! Have a blessed day 💕
